Editing host file in MAC book

The hosts file is in the hidden /etc folder so it is ruled by the superuser "root". You have two choices: Enable the root user so you can login with super powers; or use Terminal. I prefer doing with Terminal. Editing in Terminal is really quite easy. Launch Terminal. Type sudo pico /etc/hosts and hit return.

It's been quite amaze... if you have a Honda Jazz and the alarm is not working, try this... Press and hold the two buttons on the remote controller for 5 seconds, then 2 times on the "ON" button (left button) to reset the alarm... It works for me...  Amaze... Thanks for the mechanic!

Creating Certificate with multiple Subject Alternative Name (SAN) for Exchange 2010 and ISA 2006 using local certificate authority (CA)

I'm deploying Exchange 2010 for 6000 users/mailboxes and migrating them from Exchange 2003. I've found that creating and managing the certificate is quite complicated or rather confuse. Decided to blog it so I could refer and hopefully help others! I'm generating new cert with multiple Subject Alternative Name (SAN) to be used in the following design:- ISA01 -> ExchCAS00 (VIP for ExchCAS01 and ExchCAS02) -> Mailbox servers Publish DNS  1. webmail.companyA.com (existing Exchange 2003 to be migrated) 2. webmail2.companyA.com (current pilot user) 3. autodiscover.companyA.com 4. ExchCAS00.company.com 5. ExchCAS01.company.com 6. ExchCAS02.company.com 7. legacy.companyA.com (For Exchange co-existence on OWA) I'm adding internal CAS HUB into the cert because some internal software somehow uses the local hostname. Otherwise, you should not need to do so. Creating Certificate with multiple Subject Alternative Name (SAN) for Exchange 2010 and ISA 2006 using local certi

VCP 410 - braindump can help?

Just managed to pass my VCP 410 (Vmware vSphere Install, Configure and Manage). My score: 369, Passing Score: 300, Total Question: 85.  I've got this braindump from someone and it's pretty useful to pass the exam. However, I noticed there are changes on the questions. Some questions are tricky. Some are new. You will need to understand the Q&A in the braindump in order to answer the paper successfully.  Some of the tricky & new questions still fresh in mind... 1. Host profile sub page - what can be configure? 2. ESX Web page - what can you do in the homepage? 3. vNetwork Distributed Switch load balancing option 4. Be careful the NOT question... 5. Couple questions on Resource Pool  6. User permission, after removing create permission, bla bla bla... you can refer to the dump! 7. Understand Data Recovery concept and limitation - up to 8 concurrent session... I think i've got this wrong. Download dump from here:- VCP 410 braindump!
